Discount on Early Payment of Full Year Adult Membership Dues
As a small volunteer run club the collection of membership dues is vital to the sustainability of our club. Collecting dues at the beginning of the season can be very hectic both for our members and for our club volunteers who collect and record such payments. Having members register for their desired leagues as early as possible also assists the individual draw masters on the various nights in their planning process.
We are therefore happy to announce members fully registered and paid by September 30th will be eligible to receive a 10% discount off their membership. The easiest way to meet this deadline is to pay online while registering. This discount excludes half year memberships and the Beginner Rate which is already discounted.
Late Charges on Payment of Adult Membership Dues
Membership dues for the upcoming season for returning members are to be paid by no later than November 30th. Members who fail to pay their dues in full by November 30th will be assessed a late fee penalty of $50. Members who fail to pay their dues by December 1st will not be entitled to curl until dues are paid in full, including the late fee penalty.
*If there are extenuating circumstances, the Executive will be as flexible as possible.
Registration: Registration for new and returning members will be open mid August. Once registration is open please visit www.windsorcurlingclub.ca under the members section to register for the upcoming season. Once you register online you will receive a confirmation email to confirm your registration. Terms of payment and payment instructions will be shown at the completion of the registration process. Changes to League Options:
Introduction of Rookie / Developmental League – This league will take place Sunday mornings. Times will vary depending on if more than one draw is needed. The purpose of this league is to cater to new and relatively inexperienced curlers by providing a league where they can continue to learn and develop. Entries can be teams, partial teams, or individuals. We will place experienced curlers with those inexperienced curlers to help them learn and meet people. Priority will be given to new or less experienced curlers but others are welcome.
Monday Night Recreation League – Open to all members. You can register as a team, partial team, or individual.
Tuesday Night Recreation League – Open to all members. You can register as a team, partial team, or individual.
Wednesday Night Competitive League – Competitive Team entry league. Individuals who are not on a team but interested in curling in this league should identify themselves with the Membership Chair or league organizer/draw master.
Thursday Night League – Open format to all members interested in recreational curling. Entries can be couples or individuals. A new schedule with different teams is created every 6-8 weeks.
Friday Night Curling – Social night. Drop in! Everyone is welcome.
Sunday Night League- Team entry for all levels of curling. Individuals who are not on a team but interested in curling in this league should identify themselves with the Membership Chair or league organizer/draw master.
Day Curling – Drop in and curl. All welcome
